Over my years of working in special education, I’ve seen parents struggle with navigating the special education system, advocating for appropriate services, and ensuring tailored support for their children. Communication gaps and differing perspectives often create disconnection between parents and educators, leading to frustration on both sides. Bridging this gap requires mutual respect, open dialogue, and shared decision-making. My goal as a Special Education Consultant is to empower parents with the tools and knowledge to advocate confidently and build stronger partnerships with educators.
