Terms of service
Effective Date: July 26, 2024
1. Introduction
Welcome to Bridge Educational Consulting. By engaging our special education consultation services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
2. Services
We provide personalized consultation services to support children with special needs and their families. Bridge Educational Consulting requires all clients to agree and sign a contract prior to commencement of services.
Please Note: Due to full-time job commitments, consultation services are offered after school hours, with flexible hours on Saturday. If you need to schedule a consultation outside of these hours, please contact fiona@bridgeeducationalconsulting.com to discuss possible arrangements. Please allow up to 24 hours for a response.
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate information and documents required for services. Failure to provide requested documents could result in reduced effectiveness of the consultation and quality recommendations. Timely communication and attendance at scheduled consultation(s) are essential.
4. Fees and Payments
Payments for service must be paid and contract submitted before commencement. There will be 20% non-refundable retainer fee.
5. Confidentiality
We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all client information. All documents will be stored in a confidential account and files will be destroyed once services are rendered. In order to provide quality and effective services, Bridge Educational Consulting may consult with other special education specialists (i.e. school psychologists, speech pathologists, etc.) and will adhere to confidentiality policy and protocols. Discussions, documents, and any other shared information will not be disclosed to unauthorized individuals.
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Clients must provide at least 48 hours' notice, not including Sunday, to cancel or reschedule any consultation via email to fiona@bridgeeducationalconsulting.com. If a consultation needs to be rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice, a rescheduling fee will apply. In certain circumstances, such as emergencies, the Provider may waive the rescheduling fee at their discretion. Clients who do not show up for the scheduled consultation or cancellations made less than 48 hours, not including Sunday, before the scheduled consultation will not be entitled to a refund.
7. Limitation of Liability
Bridge Educational Consulting is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including any actions taken or decisions made based on advice and/or recommendations provided during the service. Clients acknowledge that there are no guarantees of achieving the desired outcomes for their child. They understand that the Consultant's primary duty is to act in the best interest of the child, considering various factors and adhering to applicable federal or state laws that may be beyond the control of both the parents/clients and the Consultant.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state of Texas.
